Eligibility
- Must be 18 years or older (16+ for some supervised activities)
- Commit to minimum volunteer hours as specified for each role
- Pass background check for roles involving vulnerable populations
- Attend orientation and required training sessions

Most volunteer roles don't require specific qualifications - we value enthusiasm, commitment, and willingness to learn. Some specialized roles (like digital skills training) may require relevant experience, which will be clearly stated in the role description. We provide all necessary training for your volunteer role.
Yes! We welcome international volunteers. However, please note that UCOID does not provide visa sponsorship or accommodation. International volunteers are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and visa arrangements. We're happy to provide invitation letters for visa applications once you're accepted into our volunteer program.
Time commitments vary by role. We offer flexible opportunities ranging from one-time events (4-6 hours) to regular weekly commitments (2-10 hours per week). Most roles require a minimum commitment of 3 months, but we also have short-term and project-based opportunities. During the application process, you can discuss your availability and find a role that fits your schedule.
