Climate Action & Environmental Stewardship

Building climate-resilient urban communities through reforestation, sustainable practices, and environmental education across Uganda. Addressing one of the greatest challenges of our time.

Overview

Climate change represents one of the greatest challenges of our time, threatening ecosystems, economies, and livelihoods globally. Uganda, like many other African countries, is already experiencing the impacts of climate change, including unpredictable rainfall, prolonged droughts, and increased frequency of extreme weather events.

UCOID is committed to addressing these issues head-on by launching a comprehensive climate change program aimed at both mitigation and adaptation strategies, tailored to the local and regional context.
